We find this specie in New Guinea and it's terrestrial specie that lives in tropical forests.
It's not appropriate to hold this specie in our hands, because they are very fast and they can bite us. That's why it's not appropriate for beginners.
When we throw them the food, they grab it and carry it to their hiding-place. Besides that they like to dig a tunnel, that's why they need more peat for base. We can also put them in terrarium some think for their hiding-place.
The humidity should be at least 80% and the temperature should be around 25C.
At so high humidity we have to be careful with a dish with water. There can develop some organisms that can harm our spider. |
