The specie was described in 1898 and we find it in different places in Trinidad. It can measure up to 13cm.
We put at least 15cm of peat because specie loves to burrow.
By mating the female makes 2 cocoons and each have about 100 eggs.
The females can live up to 20 years.
The temperature in terrarium should be around 25- 28°C, humidity around 70-80%.
We feed specie with insects, grasshoppers, worms and crickets, casually with pinky mouse. |
