We find this specie in Srilanka in tropical forests. It grows to 17 cm in legspan.
The temperature should be between 20-25°C and the humidity around 80%. It's also appropriate to have a dish with watter for keeping the humidity.
Because it's an arboreal specie it's appropriate to give them a piece of bark or trunk in terrarium for their hiding-place. We put the food on their webs.
It lives around 10-12 years. We shuold be very careful with temperature that it's not very high because the spider can die. |
