It's very popular specie at collectior because of their collor. It can grow up to 18 cm legspan. We find it in Tobago and Trinidad.
This specie is agressive and nervous. Females are grown up at the age of 1 and a half years, males in 1 year. This is very interesting because mostly females grow up faster than males.
The temperature should be between 22-24°C and the humidity at least 80%. It's appropriate to have a small dish with a watter.
The base in terrarium should be at least 3 cm high. We also put in a piece of trunk for it's hiding-place. This is an arboreal specie.
We feed them with different insects. |
