PTERINOCHILUS CHORDATUS

This specie was described in 1873. We find it in Kenia and Tansania. It can grow about 10 cm legspan, it's terrestial specie and it can get qiuck accustomed to new place.

The humidity should be around 60-70% and the temperature around 27C. We put in terrarium a piece of trunk for it's hiding-place. For base we use different sorts of peat or soil. We have to be careful that the humidity is high enough.

We put in terrarium more base because they like to dig. Over the whole they make silk area so they know when we throw them food.

We feed them with worms, crickets, grasshoppers, when they are grow up also with a mouse.
