It's very beautiful and popular specie at collectors. It has orange hair and that's why it's so beautiful.
This specie is very fast and we have to be very careful with opening the terrarium. It can escape and we can't find it easily. The best size for terrarium is 30x30x40 cm.
Because it's a tree-specie we put in terrarium a piece of trunk for for it's nest. We put the food on web and it catches it very fast. There should be at least 3cm of base.
They live about 12 years and grow about 10cm leg span.
The temperature should be between 25-28°C by day, and between 18-20°C by night. The humidity should be about 80%.
Females are grown up at the age of 2 years, males in 1 year.
It's an agressive specie so it's not appropriate for holding in our hands. |
