We find this specie in Trinidad and Surinam, it was described by C.L. Kosh. It lives in tropical plantations where it makes silk tubes under the tree trunk.
This is an aggressive specie and it runes very fast, that's why we must me very careful with opening the terrarium. It's also not appropriate to hold it in our hands. Besides all that, the terrarium should be higher, because it needs a piece of trunk in it to make it's own nest.
The humidity should be over 80%, so it's appropriate to have a small vessel with water in terrarium.
These spiders live about 12 years, females are grown up at the age of 2 years.
The temperature should be between 15-28°C.
The effects of bite or poison are not known, but they think it's a small risk for death.
