This specie comes from Africa. It grows very slow but grows up about 15 cm. If we put in terrarium more peat it will dig wholes (pits). It can bites you but don't throws the hair into the air. It's very agressive so it's not appropriate for beginners.
We put in terrarium about 10 cm of peat and a piece of root or bark for it's hiding-place. The temperature should be between 23-30°C and the humidity about 60-75%.
