This is an terrestrial specie and we find it in Columbia. It's very aggressive and when it's in danger it' throws the hair into the air.
That's why we must be very careful. Because of his aggressiveness it's not appropriate for beginners. We must also be very careful when we feed them (it can jump on our hand).
We put few centimeters of peat in terrarium so it can dig a whole for it's hiding-place. We can also do it by our self with putting a piece of trunk in terrarium.
The humidity should be between 70-80% and the temperature should be around 27°C.
We feed them with crickets, grasshoppers, sometimes also with a mouse. |
