Travel by Road from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your journey begins in the heart of Nairobi's CBD, with departure from our designated meeting point near Mama Ngina Street. From here, you will travel westward toward the world-famous Masai Mara. The drive takes you through ever-changing landscapes, beginning with the bustling city scene before opening up to sweeping views of the Great Rift Valley. A short stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint allows you to take in this dramatic escarpment. By late afternoon, you will arrive at the camp, with time to relax, settle in and enjoy the simple camp atmosphere before dinner and an overnight stay.

Explore the Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, you will set off for a full-day adventure across the Masai Mara, one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations. The reserve's endless golden plains, dotted with acacia trees, provide the perfect backdrop for incredible game viewing. Throughout the day, you will search for the legendary Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino – as well as cheetah, giraffe, zebra and countless bird species. At midday, pause at a scenic spot near the hippo pool to enjoy your picnic lunch, with the chance to spot hippo and crocodile lazing in the river.
